Much of the ideation and writing that I work on is inspired by the reading that I do.
I have created a recommended reading list from a selection of what I have read
over the years. Some of it was good; some of it remains controversial. What I look
for in a selection is something that engages me. If I am not emotionally moved by
some passage or character or facet of the work, then why should I be wasting my
time? Even if I do not agree with the author or the story, the work can still be
valuable. These are strictly auggestions - so do not blame me if you hate something
that is on this list!
